Since 1827 it has put its signature on the most authentic tradition of Siena in absolute respect of its ancient confectionery culture.
 
Fiore is a historic confectionery company of Siena that has always had a great ambition, promoting in Italy and in the world the tradition of typical Sienese and Tuscan sweets: ricciarelli, panforte and cantuccini are the most important products in a company that almost two centuries ago took on as its two indispensable values handcrafted spirit and devotion to the territory.
 
Today Fiore is an important productive company in the territory that employs over one hundred employees, but despite this, has not lost its spirit of craftsmanship and meticulous attention to the historicity and originality of the recipes.

It was the year 1879 when, on the occasion of the Palio dell’Assunta Queen Margherita of Savoy made a visit to the city of Siena. To celebrate the event, and honour her, dedicated to her was the product that in that specific period of time represented power and wealth: Panforte

FROM THE BEGINNING, SIENESE PAR EXCELLENCE. In the fifteenth century the Florentine priest Arlotto Mainardi, better known as Piovano Arlotto, listing the “qualities” of some Italian cities wrote: “in Milan they know how to do haberdashery and armoury, and in Florence good drapes, in Bologna sausages, and in Siena marzipan and berricuccoli”. Marzipan immediately became a typical product of Siena.

CANTUCCINI, TUSCAN EXCELLENCE FROM THE LATE 1500S, THEY WERE PRESENT ON THE TABLE OF THE MEDICI COURT Their roots are traced back to the sixteenth century and the name seems to derive from the Italian word for “song”, or from “cantellus”, Latin for “piece or slice of bread”, a salted biscuit that the Roman soldiers had already consumed during their military campaigns
