Products

Marrons Glacès - Candied Chestnuts

This traditional package is made with chestnuts candied in sugar syrup and then glazed. The obtaining of candying takes place with a slow process of about a week. Only the true natural vanilla from Madagascar is used in candying. Molin di Pepe cultivates a particular variety of chestnuts, the Marrone del Mugello PGI. This particular chestnut has been selected for over a thousand years in the Mugello area, in the mountains north of Florence, much appreciated for its perfect sweetness and notes of almond-walnut-vanilla.
