Our oil: the motivation to start this project, it is the heart and soul of our work. It is our passion. We hope that within every bottle, beyond the fruity aroma, the grassy notes and the clean, harmonious flavor you will find a bit of our story. SEGGIANO DOP AND ORGANIC DOP The Seggiano DOP extra-virgin olive oil is one of a kind. The Olivastra Seggianese olive varietal is only grown on this part of the Monte Amiata and it produces an inimitable oil with a unique flavor. Its bouquet is intense but graceful, with notes of cut grass and chamomile. The oil’s aroma doesn’t interfere with food parings, in fact, it highlights them. The flavor is delicate and suitable for unusual combinations: from a drizzle over a simple fish crudo or as the finishing touch on an intense Porcini mushroom soup or even Olivastra olive oil gelato! The oil is bottled with single-use caps, as required by the most recent legislation, making the product suitable for restaurants. The harvest is in October. Each bottle is marked with the Consorzio DOP Seggiano stamp which allows for the product to be traced back to the orchard, producer and mill of provenance. This guarantees the safety and transparency of each step of the process for every single bottle. To satisfy the requests of a growing organic market, we also produce a certified organic DOP Seggiano oil.
